Our proprietary FireLight® Infrared Bulb is the result of years of thoughtful testing and careful refinement, designed to be a big step up from the traditional incandescent bulb. It’s what powers every product we make, and it's built for serious light and heat therapy.
It has a specially tuned filament that runs at a higher Kelvin temperature. This shifts the emitted spectrum into higher frequency, so there's a higher percentage of 600-1000nm PBM wavelengths. So it’s more effective for both humans and animals than a regular heat lamp. And the glass? It’s not your average bulb glass. The glass is red-stained, hard quartz glass, unlike most bulbs which use cheaper soft glass and are not stained but instead are coated red or dyed red. That means no chemicals, no silicone, no teflon, and no mystery coatings. Just pure, clean light.
Each bulb is splash-tested while operating—yes, we literally splash cold water on it—to make sure there are no hidden flaws. Then, every bulb is tested again at our SaunaSpace factory before it reaches you.

Our signature FireLight® Infrared Bulb is manufacturer rated for 5000 hours of burn time and are covered by our warranty. Most customers receive 2-4 years of usage. Some users experience more time, some less. The bulbs will require replacement eventually. Incandescent bulbs are an analog technology, unlike LED. If your bulb turns on- you receive the same power and irradiance output every time, for the entire life of the bulb. If it does not turn on- it needs to be tested and possibly replaced! In contrast, LEDs will slowly dim (lose light therapy power) over time, becoming more and more unreliable.

The FireLight® Bulb is 250W, with a filament temperature around 2400K. While the bulb itself gets quite hot, the glass temperature can exceed 300°F (about 150°C). For safety, our Glow and Hearth have protective guards designed to ensure you don't come into direct contact with the operating bulb, preventing any risk of burns. When used at the usage range from your body, it will effectively heat the local area, making it great for sauna or targeted use.

We suggest not to stare directly into the filament of the bulb. Most of our customers gaze around the Glow or Hearth™ with their eyes open or close their eyes while facing the bulbs during their session. Many will do both.

The FireLight® Bulb performs best when used with our Glow, Hearth™, and FireLight® Sauna. Our Hearth™ and Glow are designed for both safety and performance, featuring protective bulb guards to protect against burns and eliminate EMF exposure.
Each panel is handmade using heat-safe, untreated natural materials, and includes UL-listed wiring, sockets, and junctions. Every unit is fully shielded for EMF mitigation and backed by a comprehensive warranty.
