Brian Richards, the founder of SaunaSpace, embarked on a personal journey to overcome his own health challenges using the wisdom of nature and the power of light. Frustrated by the limitations of conventional medicine, he discovered the profound benefits of near-infrared light therapy. This revelation inspired him to create SaunaSpace—an elegant fusion of ancient healing traditions and modern technology.
With a background in chemistry and experience in organic synthesis labs (including the invention of a novel fluorescent protein dye), Brian brings scientific rigor to every innovation. Guided by a vision of healthful, fulfilling lives for all, he has dedicated himself to developing high-quality tools that harness the transformative power of light and heat therapy. Each SaunaSpace product reflects his commitment to intentionality, craftsmanship, and the natural world.

Every desk is equipped with a Glow light, optimizing wellness while working. We also offer on-site yoga classes, along with remote yoga and breathwork sessions to support our team wherever they are. Employees enjoy complimentary and discounted sauna products, as well as moments of connection through New Moon ceremonies, fostering reflection and intention-setting.
