This review is long overdue, but I just had to post because I had an incredible experience recently. I’ve been using my sauna regularly for the past 3 1/2 years, and it has helped me in so many ways — high energy levels, great mood, high-quality sleep, glowy skin, fast recovery from workouts. But the most amazing thing happened last week, I went to the functional medicine doctor for the first time in years, just to check up on everything, and they did a full panel of bloodwork, they must’ve taken like 30 vials of blood and tested for everything — from nutrition and hormones to inflammatory markers and even toxins like heavy metals and mold. When I went for the follow up appointment, my doctor seemed stunned. He said that in 15 years of practicing functional medicine, he had never seen bloodwork like mine. He said I was biologically decades younger than my chronological age, and asked what I had been doing lifestyle-wise. There wasn’t much to talk about during my appointment, so I told him all about my sauna :-) thank you thank you thank you, SaunaSpace for this amazing gift of health.

It took me over three years to make this purchase because I didn’t want to spend the money. Been dealing with chronic fatigue type stuff for over a decade - finally took advantage of a sale and ended up getting the the sauna space after deliberating spending more money for a clearlights sauna the program. I am on a program that recommends near infrared over far so went with this one. And this one was portable and more compact at a lower price point so I went with it! I’ve been using it for about two months now and I’m already feeling like I’m getting so much better. I have more consistent and reliable energy day to day. I started off with just 10 minutes a day because I went for 20 a few times and it wore me out. So I backed down to 10m at a time and now I’ve built up to 20 minutes a day and have the stamina to do it. This thing gets me sweating like no other sauna has before and I’ve been in all different types of saunas. It’s incredible how much you sweat. I do feel like this was a missing piece in my healing and truly feel
It is healing me on a cellular level. I expect to continue improving. I will update this review in a few months.
Also on a purely aesthetic level I will say it is so well done. The structure and appearance you can’t beat for something you need to put in a small
Space. I know I could have thrown something red light together for less but the tent and solid light panel make it all worth it. So happy w this purchase and look forward to…

I have fallen in love with my tiny sanctuary. I use it after a work out as it will increase RBC production. There by mimicking altitude workouts. It’s a great way to sweat and reset. I like to sit there about 20 minutes and read a book. Preferably one you don’t mind getting sweaty.

How does the FireLight® Sauna compare to a far-infrared (FIR) sauna?
All saunas have the same goal: to raise your core body temperature enough to jump-start its natural healing processes. Traditional saunas use steam, fire, or electric heaters to make the air in the sauna hot, which eventually heats up your body from the outside in. Infrared saunas tap into the science of light to help you sweat faster and more comfortably. Unlike the traditional methods, our FireLight®'s near infrared (NIR) light works with your body’s biology to create radiant heat—from the inside out. By using near infrared’s shorter wavelengths in a way that mimics natural sunlight, the light penetrates deeply to raise your core temperature faster.
Near infrared saunas give you: Ultrafast heat therapy, comfortable air temperatures, built-in light therapy and faster sauna sessions
There are many far infrared (FIR) saunas on the market, but these longer wavelengths are absorbed by water, which means they won’t get past the water in the surface layers of your skin. If your sauna relies primarily on FIR, it may take longer to raise your core body temperature and it typically requires a preheat time of 40 minutes or more. Another drawback of far infrared saunas is the lack of light therapy. Our bodies don’t have receptors for far infrared light. To remedy this, some brands will add LED light therapy panels, but the combination of these approaches still doesn’t match the effectiveness of how incandescent infrared light works in nature. By bringing these two therapeutic approaches into our meticulously engineered saunas, SaunaSpace helps people enjoy relief, relaxation, and wellness at its best.

We use a canvas enclosure to make the FireLight® Sauna a sanctuary that protects your body, mind, and spirit. Unlike heavy wooden structures, it’s easy to move, quick to set up without tools, and ideal for small spaces—like an apartment. For added protection, the SilverLining™ upgrade acts as a Faraday cage, shielding you from harmful electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) to create the most peaceful, protected detox experience possible.
Our FireLight® Saunas are handmade in the USA, using 0 VOC (non-toxic) materials—unlike most wooden enclosures, which often contain harmful off-gassing components such as glues, paints, chemical-treated wood, and synthetic finishes.
Will the FireLight® Sauna make me sweat? How hot does it get?
Yes, absolutely! The FireLight® Sauna does not need to be pre-heated, and the radiant FireLight® will get you sweating in minutes! With the Classic Sauna (4 bulbs), your session will be 20-30 minutes. With the SuperSauna (7 bulbs), your session will take only 15-20 minutes! And because it's radiant, penetrating, heat-you-from-within heat, the air doesn't need to be as hot as a traditional sauna. So the air temperature in our saunas ranges from 110°F to 150°F degrees. In contrast, traditional saunas, including far-infrared saunas, must rely on the air to heat you from the outside inward, so they take a lot longer to get you sweating. What are the FireLight® Sauna's electrical requirements?
All our products are plug-and-play with a standard outlet anywhere in the world.
The FireLight® Bulbs are available in 120V and 240V versions, depending on where in the world you wish to use your sauna.
120V Countries
Choose USA Plug for the USA, Canada and any countries with 120V electrical supply. Your Hearth(s) ship(s) with a plug adapter and 120V FireLight® Bulbs. Both Classic and SuperSauna models work on common standard 15A or 20A circuit.
220-240V Countries
Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the Middle East and all countries with 220-240V electrical supply. Choose the correct Plug option for your country: EURO, UK, SWISS, AU/NZ, BRAZIL, INDIA. Your Hearth(s) ship(s) with a plug adapter and 240V FireLight® Bulbs. Both Classic and SuperSauna models work on a standard 8A or 10 A circuit with the supplied power cord and an included plug adapter.
Do I rotate my body during my sauna session?
Yes. Unlike traditional setups, SaunaSpace is designed for dynamic, full-body exposure through gentle rotation. As you slowly rotate every few minutes, each side of your body receives full radiance coverage without the need for extra time.
This isn’t just about even light exposure—it’s also a powerful physiological advantage. While one side of your body is being heated, the other is cooling slightly. That contrast boosts blood flow and helps move heat deeper into your core. The result? A faster and more effective internal heating response.
In the SuperSauna (7-bulbs), most users reach a 3°F core temperature increase (and about 1 lb of water loss) in just 15 minutes. In the Classic Sauna (4-bulbs), you will reach similar results in around 20-30 minutes. And there’s no preheat time—just plug in and start healing.
How much does it cost to operate the FireLight® Sauna?
The Classic Sauna (4 bulbs, powered by a Hearth™ Quartet) uses 1000W, which costs about 16¢ per hour based on average kilowatt-hour (kWh) cost in the USA.
The SuperSauna (7 bulbs, powered by a Hearth™ Quartet & a Hearth™ Trio) uses 1750W, which costs about 29¢ per hour based on average kilowatt-hour (kWh) cost in the USA.
