It includes one PureLayer™ Mat Cover and three PureLayer™ Stool Covers, each crafted from incredibly plush, 700gsm regenerative bamboo terry. The fabric is naturally antibacterial, moisture-wicking, and hypoallergenic. It absorbs sweat while staying soft and breathable under heat, with a cooling feel that turns detox into indulgence.

The Mat Cover is precision-cut to match your sauna's trapezoidal base, laying smooth and stable across the grounding mat. Its triple-layer construction provides grounded comfort while protecting the mat underneath. After use, you can leave it in place to dry with the sauna on, or unbutton the layers to hang dry quickly and cleanly.

The Stool Covers use a five-layer system that opens out to dry between sessions and feels cloud-soft when in use. Elastic edges ensure a snug fit on your Sauna Stool—no slipping, no adjustments. And with three in rotation, you’re always covered.

Every piece in the bundle is machine washable, easy to care for, and packaged with a GOTS-certified organic cotton mesh bag to prevent microplastic shedding. This is a system, not just a set. First Use

• No washing needed—each cover arrives sauna-ready.
• Lay the Mat Cover over your grounding mat, aligning the trapezoid shape.
• Slip a Stool Cover onto your Sauna Stool like a fitted sheet. The elastic band ensures a secure, smooth fit.
  

After Each Session

For the Mat Cover:

• Leave in place and use the Sauna Dry Method (30–60 min with sauna on), or
• Unbutton the layers and hang in a well-ventilated space to dry.
  

For the Stool Cover:

• Unfold the five layers and either air dry or drape over the stool with the sauna on to dry gently.

After Washing or Drying

• Mat Cover: Rebutton layers and lay flat over the mat.
• Stool Cover: Refold layers neatly (following the included instructions) and slip back over the stool.

Washing Instructions

• Wash Mat Cover every 2–8 sessions, and Stool Covers every 2–3, depending on detox levels.
• Unbutton all layers before washing.
• Place each item in the included mesh laundry bag.
• Use any cycle with an eco-friendly, enzyme-based detergent.
• Tumble dry or air dry completely before use.

What Makes Our Bamboo Different

Not all bamboo is created equal—and the difference begins long before it touches your skin. The bamboo used in the PureLayer™ collection is grown using regenerative methods that restore rather than deplete. There’s no artificial irrigation, no chemical fertilizers, and no disruption to the underground rhizome network. Bamboo spreads naturally and grows fast—some species, like Dragon Bamboo, can reach 30 meters in just 100 days—making it one of the most renewable materials on earth.

Harvesting is done by hand, preserving the plant’s root system for natural regrowth and long-term soil health. Our suppliers maintain long-term relationships with local farmers, providing stable purchasing prices, technical training, and third-party-audited assurance of sustainable income. Mechanical transport methods (rather than fuel-based alternatives) are used to minimize ecological impact.

Once harvested, the transformation from stalk to fabric happens through a closed-loop, mechanical process that avoids the harsh chemical solvents used in conventional bamboo rayon. Instead, the fibers are crushed, steamed, and softened through bio-enzymatic hydrolysis, protecting both the workers and the environment.

The fabric is then whitened using a chlorine-free oxygen bleaching process—which produces only biodegradable byproducts (CO₂ and H₂O) and recycles over 85% of its water, compared to just 50% in traditional bleaching. The finished bamboo terry is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it’s rigorously tested and verified to contain no harmful substances.

The entire supply chain meets globally recognized standards for worker safety and sustainability, including FSC Forest Certification, the Higg Index, and ISO 45001. Workers receive wages at least 20% above local minimums, medical insurance, housing subsidies, and regular health and safety training in facilities equipped with dust and noise control systems.
