How to use your PureLayer Covers and Use Your Sauna

Here's a short guide to getting the most out of your sauna experience, plus tips and tricks for using the PureLayer mat and stool cover if you ordered those (and if you didn't, you should.)

Preparing for Your Sauna Session

Prepare Your Mind & Body

  • Hydrate with 16 oz of warm or room-temperature water (add a pinch of sea salt for electrolytes).
  • Gentle movement—yoga, stretching, a walk—activates circulation. If you’re training hard, sauna afterward for muscle recovery.
  • Set an intention: relaxation, clarity, creativity. This is your time.

Dry Brushing

  • Use the dry brush included with your sauna before entering, on dry skin.
  • Sweep toward the heart with long, firm strokes to awaken circulation and lymph flow.
  • Watch our Dry Brushing Demo

Remove Distractions

  • Put your phone in airplane mode—no EMFs, no notifications.
  • Remove jewelry and wash your face.
  • Sauna nude for full benefits, or wear minimal natural clothing if preferred.

Set Up Your Sauna Space

  • Lay down your PureLayer™ Mat and Stool Cover. If not yet, towels will do.
  • For extra warmth, pre-heat 5–10 minutes before entering.
  • Seal the curtain neatly behind the wooden poles for maximum heat and EMF protection.
  • This is your sanctuary—quiet, focused, present.

Optimizing Your Sauna Session

Begin Facing Forward

  • Start with 5–10 minutes, working toward 20. (SuperSauna: 10–15 minutes.)
  • Always begin facing forward to warm your core and vital organs first.

Rotate to Maximize Exposure

  • Rotate slowly so each part of your body receives FireLight’s focus.
  • Try 5 minutes per side, or every 2–3 minutes—whatever rhythm feels right.
  • Aim to raise core temperature ~3°F and sweat out at least one pound of water.
  • If lightheaded, turn off the lights, hydrate, and rest.

After Your Session

Let Your Sauna Breathe

  • Leave the sauna on for ~30 minutes post-session to dry out covers.
  • Unfold and air out your PureLayer™ Stool Cover.
  • Wash covers if detox odors build up—freshness is key.

Rehydrate & Rinse

  • Sip warm water to replenish.
  • Shower soon after to rinse sweat and toxins from the skin.

Carry the Glow Into Your Day

  • You’ve reset your nervous system, activated cellular repair, and tapped into deep renewal.
  • Step out aligned, refreshed, radiant.
  • Enjoy the glow. ✨
