Today, we invite you to take a peek behind the (sauna) curtain and learn about our newly released PureLayer Collection. Towels just weren’t cutting it – so we crafted a luxurious solution.

As you know, our CEO Brian Richards is the creative genius behind SaunaSpace. The guy loves creating things, especially things that improve your life – it’s what lights him up (pun intended). He spent years in research and development, creating the groundbreaking FireLight technology that powers SaunaSpace products. He perfected our beautiful, handcrafted saunas, but we were still missing something…

Think about it – what do you use in your sauna right now to sit on and to soak up all that sweat? 

Probably bath towels or beach towels, right? Just draped over the stool with just enough to cover the mat around you. They’ve done their time, but they were never built for the heavy lifting of sauna life.

It couldn’t just be better than a beach towel; it had to completely reimagine what a sauna accessory could be. So, we turned to organic bamboo. It checked all the boxes: naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and one of the most eco-friendly fibers out there. 

After testing countless options, we landed on a super plush, breathable, dare I say ‘cloud-like’ material so smooth it might just ruin regular towels for you. (Sorry, not sorry.)

Next came the construction and what it would actually look like, starting with a “brilliant” all-in-one stool-and-mat cover concept. Genius, right?

Wrong, lol. Beside looking like a weird top hat for your sauna stool, it was remarkably impractical:
